The Curvy Trini is a blog written by plus size model Sarah Hamel-Smith who also goes by the nickname TheCurvyTrini. Sarah is a social media influencer and fashion blogger who promotes body positivity on her blog along with “heavy doses of style, inspiration and empowerment“.
From her site:
Launched in 2018 as a community for all those who have never quite fit in, especially my plus size sisters, to finally feel at home.
We’ll talk about plus size fashion, ways to recognize your true awesome-ness as well as all things BOPO!
This site is a safe space for those who have been body shamed or otherwise made to feel “less than” to finally recognize their true worth and be themselves.
I serve up big doses of kindness, warmth and encouragement helping others to be brave enough to take up space and finally create the life of their dreams.
It is for the full figured, the weirdos, the creatives, the shamed and the oppressed. It is for those who wish to make the world a better place.
Here are just some of the latest articles on her blog:

- Unless I lost weight and was pleasing to look at according to the male/ societal standard and men wanted to marry me, I was worthless…
